Iowa PBS Presents Dracula: A Performance by Ballet Quad Cities

Celebrate Halloween with a performance fronted by the king of the undead himself, Count Dracula. IPTV will present a new production of Dracula: A Performance by Ballet Quad Cities on Monday, October 30 at 8 p.m. on statewide IPTV.

Ballet Quad Cities brings Bram Stoker's Gothic horror story to life with this captivating performance. “Dracula” features enthralling choreography by Deanna Carter, exhilarating music and spine-tingling excitement.

The role of Count Dracula is masterfully performed by Italian-Mexican dancer Domingo Rubio. Marie Buser will be dancing the role of Lucy, while the role of Mina will be portrayed by Allegra Holland. Having long been a crowd-favorite, the original one-act ballet will now be available for enjoyment by Iowans across the state.

Join IPTV for this captivating performance recorded on October 20 and 21, 2017, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Moline, Illinois. The program includes behind the scenes interviews and features a bonus performance, “The Transylvania Twist.”
