To provide some social interaction while we are social distancing, Iowa PBS has compiled a list of virtual events and activities from organizations across the state. Click the organization's name for more information and please check back often!  

VIP Watch Party - Iowa PBS will host virtual watch parties throughout the year with program favorites and special guests. 

Des Moines Art Center - Explore the Art Center’s current exhibitions and permanent collections online, anytime.

Iowa 4-H - Compiled a wide variety of youth-led learning resources that are available for at-home learning. 

Produce Iowa - Sharing films to add to your queue while social distancing, including past films from The Film Lounge

Blank Park Zoo - Educators will conduct educational activities, have live keeper chats, and display live webcams of the animals that live at the zoo.

State Historical Museum of Iowa - Launched Goldie At Home, a landing page of digital resources that families can use to learn more about Iowa history! 

Iowa Department of Natural Resources - Sharing videos and photos of nature in our great state. 

Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium - Check out their Social Distance Learning Page! They feature history, animal enrichment, and adaptations. 

Iowa Governor's STEM Council - Explore Pinterest boards for fun, at-home activities for students of all ages.

Science Center of Iowa - Science engagement at home.

Des Moines Symphony - Launched #DMSOAtHome, “mini-concerts” streamed from the homes of Orchestra musicians and score study series with Music Director & Conductor Joseph Giunta

Iowa Public Radio - Talk of Iowa launches home learning programming on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Polk County Heritage Gallery - Virtual tour of the new 20 Artists, 20 Parks exhibit.
