Strawberry Rhubarb Smoothie

A smoothie recipe from chef Walter Jahke. 


  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 cups chopped rhubarb
  • 2 Tbps. orange juice concentrate
  • 1 cup strawberry ice cream
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt


In a sauce pan set to medium heat, add white and brown sugar, rhubarb and orange juice concentrate. Cook until rhubarb is softened. Remove from heat and let cool.

In a blender, add ½ cup cooked rhubarb, ice cream, and yogurt. Blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy.
