The 200 Medley Relay features five teams within one second of each other. Ames, the favorite, had a strong showing at the 2015 IGHSAU State Swimming and Diving championships, winning every relay. The Little Cyclones of Jazlyn Horras, Molly Winer, Grace Snyder and Amy Feddersen brought home gold in a time of 1:45.65. Ankeny was second while Cedar Falls was third.

Southeast Polk’s Allyssa Fluit came into the 2015 state meet as one of the most decorated individual swimmers with four gold medals already around her neck. She set a record in the 200 Freestyle in 2014 and would easily win again in 2015 with a time of 1:47.53. Samantha Hedrick of the Newton, Colfax-Mingo, Pella program was second and Keely Soellner of Storm Lake took third. Fluitt will compete for the University of Iowa next year.
