Best of Eastern Canada Tour

Join Friends of Iowa PBS for a nine-day adventure on our Best of Eastern Canada tour from September 29 - October 7. From the old-world style of Quebec City to the metropolitan skyscrapers of Montreal, say bienvenue to Eastern Canada. After arriving in the cosmopolitan city of Toronto we'll board a boat and experience the power of Niagara Falls up close. We'll discover Niagara-on-the-Lake's quaint local shops and charming atmosphere. On our way to Ottawa we'll explore the spectacular Thousand Islands National Park and cruise along the St. Lawrence River. We'll say bonjour to Quebec City where we'll have a breakfast of regional specialities at a local sugar shack and learn about maple syrup-making. Then it's off to Montreal which is a blend of all things new and old. An unforgettable experience awaits you as you venture along picturesque countryside with rushing waterways and lush gardens and glistening skyscrapers with cathedrals and cobblestone streets.
