Tom Vilsack is the 30th and 32nd Secretary of Agriculture. As he returns to USDA, trade with Canada and Mexico has a new name in USMCA. What else has changed? We ask Vilsack about relationships with China, the United Auto Workers and the meatpacking plants in this sitdown interview at an Ankeny, Iowa farm. During this time, the Secretary was travelling to many sites with his counterpart in the government of Mexico.
