Iowa PBS Day at the Blank Park Zoo

Iowa PBS invites families to a Day at the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a wild day of family fun, learning and adventure! 

Families will have the chance to meet favorite PBS KIDS costumed characters Elmo from Sesame Street, Clifford from Clifford the Big Red Dog, Arthur Read from Arthur, Molly Mabray from Molly of Denali and Carl from Carl the Collector during special meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the day. 

The Iowa PBS Education team will be leading hands-on STEAM activities for families to enjoy throughout the day designed to spark creativity and curiosity in children of all ages.
