Support Public Media During Festival 2026

Get ready for a week that celebrates Iowa and beyond—because Iowa PBS is kicking off Festival 2026, offering an exciting lineup of diverse programs that span music, culture, food and storytelling. This isn’t just TV: it’s an opportunity to experience and support the best that public broadcasting has to offer.

Here’s why you absolutely can’t miss it:

Don't Miss Tractor Wars II

Between 1929 and 1959 tractor makers fought for market supremacy, and worked to make mechanized farming part of everyday life in rural America. And everyone—from board rooms to farm fields—searched for a balance between power and affordability. The sequel to our popular documentary explores how tractor companies survived the Great Depression and adapted during World War II.

Don't miss Tractor Wars II on Monday, March 2 at 7 p.m. or streaming on the PBS App and YouTube.

Meet the Artist - John Bosley

The 2026 Iowa PBS t-shirt was designed by John Bosley, a graphic artist and illustrator based in Des Moines. He is the founder and owner of Bozz Prints, located in Valley Junction. His design, Iowa Grown, was inspired by artist Grant Wood, the Iowa landscape and "all the different textures and color palettes we all see on a daily basis."
