Iowa PBS announces Caryline Clark as the new director of communications and marketing for the network. As the newest member of the Iowa PBS leadership team, she will spearhead strategy and execution of communications, marketing of local programming, audience development and community engagement efforts.

“Throughout her time at Iowa PBS, Caryline has demonstrated an exceptional work ethic and a deep commitment to our mission. She understands our organization, our audiences and the important role Iowa PBS plays in communities across the state.” said Iowa PBS Executive Director and General Manager Andrew Batt. “Her experience and collaborative approach will position her well to strengthen our brand, expand awareness of our services and deepen our connection with Iowans.”

Clark’s experience includes more than 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and community engagement, with the last seven years spent at Iowa PBS. In her previous role as engagement manager, she led the planning and execution of statewide engagement and audience marketing initiatives, overseeing integrated campaigns, community partnerships and large-scale events designed to deepen connections between Iowa PBS and audiences across the state. Prior to Iowa PBS, she led public engagement roles with the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden and the American Cancer Society. Across her career, she has focused on connecting organizations with their communities and creating meaningful experiences that advance their missions and reach new audiences.

“I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to lead this team and continue the work we’ve been doing together,” said Clark. “I’ve had the privilege of working alongside this incredibly talented group, and I know firsthand the creativity, passion and commitment they bring to Iowa PBS every day. I’m looking forward to building on that strong foundation, supporting this team and finding new ways to tell the Iowa PBS story and connect with Iowans across the state.”
