Iowa PBS Announces Date for U.S. Senate Debate

Iowa PBS will host Iowa Press Debates: U.S. Senate on Wednesday, October 7 at 7 p.m. at Iowa PBS studios in Johnston, Iowa. 

Hosted by Iowa Press moderator Kay Henderson, candidates Ashley Hinson (R - Marion) and Josh Turek (D - Council Bluffs) will answer questions from reporters and discuss their platforms, concerns and future plans. Henderson will moderate the debate with Iowa political reporters.

Iowa Press Debates: U.S. Senate will air live on statewide Iowa PBS and be streamed on iowapbs.org and YouTube. The Iowa PBS television network reaches all media markets in the state including broadcast coverage across all 99 counties of Iowa.

The debate will be held at Iowa PBS studios in Johnston, Iowa, without a live audience. Additional Iowa PBS debates will be announced as they are confirmed.
