Music Lovers: Catch our Concert Lineup

We've put together a fantastic lineup of concerts every Friday night this summer, beginning at 8:30 p.m. with our own locally produced Studio 3 LIVE. This series showcases local, regional and national artists performing original sets, all recorded in front of a live studio audience. Tune in Fridays for Studio 3 LIVE at 8:30 p.m., followed by a wide range of concert specials starting at 9:30 p.m.

June 2025

  • June 20 – Sheryl Crow in Concert (9:30 p.m.) Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow delivers a fun live performance of her biggest hits in Nashville in 2024.
  • June 20 – Austin City Limits: Jason Isbell (10:30 p.m.) Americana star and Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Jason Isbell lights up the Austin City Limits stage. 
  • June 27 – Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band: No Nukes from 1979 (9:30 p.m.) Experience the energy of Bruce Springsteen's legendary 1979 “No Nukes” concert with the E Street Band.

July 2025

  • July 4 – A Capitol Fourth (7 p.m.) Celebrate Independence Day with this star-studded concert from Washington, D.C., featuring patriotic music and fireworks.
  • July 4 – Yankee Doodle Pops (8:30 p.m.) The Des Moines Symphony presents a festive mix of patriotic and classical music from the Iowa State Capitol.
  • July 11 – Ella Fitzgerald Live at Montreux (9:30 p.m.) Jazz icon Ella Fitzgerald dazzles in this classic 1969 performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. 
  • July 18 – Eric Church at Red Rocks (9:30 p.m.) Country music artist Eric Church rocks this iconic Colorado venue in 2016. 
  • July 25 – Joe Bonamassa and Orchestra: Live at the Hollywood Bowl (9:30 p.m.) Blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa delivers a powerful set backed by a full orchestra in this amazing Hollywood Bowl concert.  Tickets to see Joe Bonamassa are available when you donate in support of Iowa PBS

August 2025

  • August 1 – Rush: Time Machine – Live in Cleveland (9:30 p.m.) Legendary rock trio Rush revisits fan favorites and deep cuts in this epic Time Machine tour performance from 2011.
  • August 8 – Rolling Stones: GRRR Live! (9:30 p.m.) The Rolling Stones light up the stage with a high-energy concert featuring decades of rock classics from 2012.
