An all-star cast honors 55 remarkable years of public television, including Josh Groban, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ken Burns, Ziggy Marley, Lily Tomlin, Henry Louis Gates Jr., Marlee Matlin, Nicholas Ralph, Rick Steves, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Adam Arkin, Courtney B. Vance, Martha Plimpton, Bill Nye, Joe Bonamassa and many more.
Saturday, November 29
First, put on that apron and head into the kitchen for America’s Test Kitchen Celebrates 25 Years. Join us in celebrating a quarter-century of rigorously tested recipes, unflinching reviews, and thousands of scientifically tested kitchen tips and tricks.
Then sit back with your culinary delights from ATK and enjoy André Rieu: Power of Love—a new special from our favorite conductor—at 3:30 p.m.
Finally, discover the life of another music man: Lawrence Welk: A North Dakota Farm Boy at 5:30 p.m. This documentary follows the life of this country boy from dance halls across the Midwest to his own TV show in Los Angeles.
Sunday, November 30
Iowa PBS is very proud to bring back the fan-favorite, Pride and Prejudice, the six-episode 1995 British television drama, starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth as Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. This marathon airing will be broadcast on November 30 from 5 – 10:30 p.m. and wrapping up on December 7.
