Tax Season Made Easy With the Iowa PBS Donor Portal

The beginning of a new year means it's time to start thinking about your taxes. As an Iowa PBS donor, you can get a head start on your tax preparation with a great tool available in the donor portal.

Requesting Your Login

If you have never logged in before, follow these simple steps to access your donor portal and generate your tax letter.

  1. Visit the Donor Portal and select "Request a Login."
  2. Complete the login request form using your contact information. To make this quick and easy, grab your recent Advance program guide and use the information on the mailing label (your name, street address and member number). This ensures you're giving the same information we already have on record. This will save time in matching our records to you.
  3. Select "Submit."

Watch for a welcome email from Friends of Iowa PBS, then select the link to set your password. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox.

If you created a login already, but you don't remember your password, no problem. Just select "Reset My Password" and we'll email you instructions.

Generating Your Tax Letter

  1. Once you are logged in, select "My Donations."
  2. Select the "Generate my tax letter" button.
  3. Select the tax year.
  4. Follow the prompts and your tax letter will be created automatically.

You can then save a screenshot, a PDF or print the letter for your records.

Additional Resources in Your Donor Portal

In addition to generating your tax letter, within the donor portal, you can:

  • View and update your personal information like your mailing address.
  • View your giving history, edit your future donations or make a new donation.
  • View and activate your Iowa PBS Passport account.
  • Contact Member Services at 800-728-2828 and get answers to your questions.
