a paper rocket

Shoot Easy Paper Rockets

These paper rockets will zoom in front of your nose, chase you around the house and ultimately get lost behind furniture! The best part? All you need is a few household ingredients to keep your kids busy for hours!

Materials

  • Paper
  • Markers and crayons
  • Glue
  • Clear tape
  • Plastic straw

Directions

  1. Have your child decorate their paper.
  2. Put glue on one of the longer edges, then roll the paper around a pencil, starting from the opposite side. Press the glued edge down to form a tube. When dry, pull the tube off the pencil.
  3. Close the top of the rocket off with tape.
  4. Insert a plastic straw into the open end, and your child is ready to go!
