CCAM Art Hangar
1180 S. 16th St., Clarinda, IA

Join Iowa PBS at the CCAM Art Hangar on March 29 at 2 p.m. for an advance screening of our newest documentary, The Legacy of 4-H.

This new documentary explores the origins of the nation’s largest youth organization, tracing its roots to the early 1900s while celebrating Jessie Field Shambaugh, known as the “Mother of 4-H,” for her lasting influence on youth education. Through history and reflection, the film shows how 4-H has empowered generations with skills, leadership, and a commitment to community.

At this special screening, we’re celebrating the proud legacy of 4-H in Iowa and the young people who carry it forward. Enjoy light refreshments at 2 p.m. as you explore recent projects from local 4-H club members and meet the youth behind the work. The film premiere will begin at 3 p.m.

Open captions for the film will be provided. This event is free but registration is required.
