Ingredients

Seedless grapes

1 brick cream cheese

½ cup sour cream

⅓ cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla

¼ cup brown sugar

Instructions

Cover bottom of a 9 x 9 square dish with washed, whole seedless grapes. (I use red and green for color.) In a medium bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla. Spread over the grapes. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. (The brown sugar will melt into a syrup.)

Describe the connection this recipe has to your family and/or heritage.

This very simple dish has passed through the family to all parts of the country. It is so simple, the kids and grandkids can be assigned to make it all by themselves! It is appropriate for all holidays and family gatherings. There are NEVER any leftovers, and I keep copies of the recipe for whoever asks for it.
