Vintage Czech Salad

5 cups of any combination of the following sliced/diced fresh ingredients: 

  • broccoli
  • green olives
  • carrots
  • celery
  • cucumbers
  • onions
  • red peppers
  • radishes
  • 4 cups of sliced/diced zucchini
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black or garlic pepper
  • Fresh or powered dill 


Combine veggies in a large container.

Bring to a boil sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and dill.

Stir to dissolve.

Strain, cool to warm and pour over veggies.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours and serve with a slotted spoon.
