Iowa PBS's scheduled livestream temporarily interrupted

technical difficulties

Due to technical difficulties, Iowa PBS’s livestreaming service for the statewide network’s main channel, Iowa PBS .1, is temporarily offering an alternate schedule of programming. This service regularly allows online viewers to watch a livestream of the station’s broadcast content on iowapbs.org and the PBS App. The Iowa PBS crew and network partners work diligently and quickly to resume the local stream. This disruption does not impact the over the air broadcast of Iowa PBS.

During the outage, Iowa PBS will be livestreaming PBS’s national feed of programming. While this feed offers much of the same content that Iowa PBS viewers know and love, the livestream programming may at times differ from Iowa PBS’s broadcast schedule. Viewers interested in streaming Iowa PBS's weekly public affairs and agribusiness programs can find Iowa Press and Market to Market on demand online.

During the disruption, PBS KIDS content may still be viewed on Iowa PBS's primary channel and Iowa PBS KIDS .2. It is available to livestream, with many shows on-demand, at iowapbs.org/kids-tv, on YouTube TV and through the PBS KIDS Video App on mobile devices and streaming services, including iOS, Android, Amazon, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast and the PBS KIDS Plug & Play.

In addition to its statewide broadcast, Iowa PBS .1 is available to livestream on pbs.org/livestream, Local Now, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV. Iowa PBS programs, behind-the-scenes extras and more can be enjoyed on iowapbs.org, Facebook and YouTube. Viewers can also stream their favorite shows on demand using the PBS App, available on iOS, Android and many streaming devices.
