Wasps often surround our home leaving creating everywhere. This provides protection for the wasps but can be a challenge for the humans living in the house.

Probing Questions
- How does a wasp protect the wasp?
- How big can they get? How do so many wasps fit in there?

Classroom Suggestions
Students could:
- Research how a wasp nest works, protects and is built.
- Bring in a wasp nest.
- Build their own wasp nests, with clay, mud and art supplies.
