Pieta Brown is an acclaimed singer-songwriter whose music blends folk, country and Americana. First gaining international attention with her 2002 debut, Brown has earned widespread praise for the depth of her songwriting and the haunting beauty of her voice. She has toured with and worked alongside a wide range of musicians while continuing to evolve her sound across critically acclaimed releases. With a career that spans music, production, and visual art, Brown brings a richly layered and deeply expressive approach to her work. Pieta will perform with Bo Ramsey and Bryan Vanderpool.

Iowa PBS is offering local music lovers an opportunity to experience this intimate, live concert recording session as a member of the studio audience. Attendees will be seated onstage and can expect to be immersed in the energetic atmosphere of a live concert performance. 

Stage seating is very limited and must be reserved in advance. Registered attendees will need to arrive at 6:30 p.m. with the hour-long recording session beginning at 7 p.m.
