Hot Buttered Rum


1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
pinch cloves
pinch salt
2 oz. dark spiced rum
6 oz. boiling water


Add first six ingredients to a small bowl and beat with an electric mixer until it forms a batter.

To prepare, put 2 heaping tablespoons of batter in each mug. Then add the rum and top with hot water.

Stir until batter dissolves. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!
