Farmers Strike, 1932

Iowa farmers strike for better prices. A roadblock organized by Farmers Holiday Association to protest low prices paid to farmers for their dairy products. The farmers tried to block dairy products from reaching retailers in Sioux City. The farmers believed the retailers were benefittiing at the suppliers' expense. Near Sioux City, Iowa. 1932.
