Podcast Season 4 Episode 421
Sarah Pratt answers some submitted questions about this year's creation of the annual Iowa State Fair Butter Cow. Pratt is enlisting a lot of family in our interview and how Broadway inspired this year's display.

There are traditions and then there is the Iowa State Fair’s Butter Cow. The first creation was more than 100 years ago and today the staple resides in the Agricultural Building in 40 degree conditions for all to see. Sarah Pratt became the fair’s 5th sculptor in 2006. We discuss her companion creation - The Music Man - and some other great insight of her work which has included her family in many capacities. Pratt gives her regards to Broadway and how a quick trip changed much of the display at this year's state fair.
