Kelly Nieuwenhuis recently exited his position of chair of the Iowa Corn Promotion board. This ends an 8-year time of service in telling the story of Iowa corn on the farm, in the cities and around the world. The Iowa farmer will serve one more year on the board before transitioning back to “just” farming and his work on a local ethanol plant board of directors. We talk about this year’s crop and the energy new producers are giving him and the industry.
